Spring arrived in southeasten Pennsylvannia this week. It started to rain with the arrival of a thunderstorn then proceeded to rain off and on for 5 straight days. I had no choice but to button up the boat as tight as i could then move inside. fortunately there was still quite a bit of work to be done in the shop.
Plenty of glue ups. Here is the daggerboard and rudder.
Its going to have a lug rig sail which means it'll have a mast and two booms. The mast is 13 feet and starts with a 2 1/2 X 2 1/2 square blank. The top gets a long taper on all four sides and the bottom a shorted taper. I ger to do some hand work and actual woodworking.
